Let’s be honest — the fitness world has spent way too much time glorifying “skinny.” But if you’ve trained with me, you know it is far more then chasing “the skinny”. I’m here for strong. Strong bodies, strong minds, building stronger clients who lift each other up — literally and figuratively.
Strength Over Skinny
When you train for strength, everything changes. You stop punishing your body and start building it. You notice your posture improves, your energy skyrockets, and suddenly, you’re doing things you didn’t think you could — whether that’s lifting heavier, running farther, or just feeling unstoppable in your day-to-day life.
And here’s the best part: strength training naturally supports fat loss. Re-read that again. It’s true! Muscle is metabolically active tissue, meaning it helps your body burn more calories even when you’re not working out. So while you’re focusing on getting stronger, your body composition shifts — leaner, more defined, more alive.
Strength over skinny isn’t just about looks. It’s about confidence, capability, and aging powerfully.
How It All Comes Together
Here’s the magic: when you focus on strength and nutrients, fat loss becomes the side effect — not the obsession. Your workouts get more effective, your body recovers faster, and you start to glow from the inside out.
This is the kind of change that lasts. Because it’s not about punishment — it’s about nourishment, consistency, and self-respect.
So, the next time you catch yourself thinking, “I need to eat less,” flip the script and ask, “How can I fuel better?”
And instead of chasing “skinny,” chase strong, capable, and confident.
Your Motivation This Week
This week, I challenge you to shift your mindset:
Let’s celebrate progress, not perfection — and remember, strong is also having such beautiful confidence in yourself.
You’ve got this — now let’s go get stronger, together.
